How much does computer diagnostics cost?
From 100 zł for fault reading, clearing and diagnosis. Importantly — we deduct that amount from the repair cost if you have the repair done with us. For more complex faults we give an individual quote, always before we start work.
How long does the diagnostics take?
A basic fault reading and clearing usually takes 20–40 minutes and we often do it on the spot. Locating a more complex fault (measurements, a test drive) can take longer — in that case we let you know the time and cost in advance.
Do I need to book in advance?
For a fault reading alone, usually not — drop by our workshop in Bogucin near Poznan during opening hours (Mon–Fri 8–18, Sat 8–14). For longer diagnostics it is better to call ahead on 500 272 005 to book a slot without waiting.
Do you give a warranty?
Yes. On a repair carried out after the diagnostics we give a warranty on parts and labour. The diagnosis itself is identifying the cause of the fault — if the same fault comes back after a repair with us, we re-check the car under the complaint procedure.
Does simply clearing the fault fix the problem?
No. Clearing removes the record from memory but not the cause — if the fault is still there, the warning light will come on again. That is why we first determine the reason for the fault and only clear it once the problem has been fixed.
Which makes and cars do you diagnose?
We handle most passenger cars with an OBD II socket (petrol, diesel, LPG, hybrids) — Polish and foreign makes. We read engine, ABS, ESP, airbag and other control-unit faults. If we cannot read your model, we will tell you right away and will not charge you.
